A planning application has been submitted for the Redevelopment of the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) Greenmount Campus in Muckamore County Antrim, designed to Passivhaus Premium and BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ standards.
Bennett Freehill is providing multiple services on the prestigious campus redevelopment as part of the Hamilton Architects led design team – namely mechanical, electrical and public health design as well as undertaking the Passivhaus Designers role, Commissioning Management and BREEAM Assessors role.
The highly sustainable design complements CAFRE’s aim to ensure that the buildings and facilities at Greenmount Campus are high performing Net Zero Operational Carbon and the most sustainable college of their kind in the UK and Ireland with Passivhaus Premium and BREEAM Outstanding accreditations.
