Summer Highlights from Bennett Freehill

It has been a busy and rewarding summer for our team – welcoming new colleagues, celebrating achievements and progressing exciting projects across the UK and Ireland.

A special congratulations to Senior Mechanical Engineer and Passivhaus Designer Ronan Mulrine, who achieved Chartered Engineer status – a fantastic professional milestone.

Mechanical Engineer Adam represented Bennett Freehill at the CIBSE Technology & Innovation Conference in London, exploring the growing role of AI, digital design and decarbonisation across building services engineering.

Weavers’ Hall PBSA for Queen’s University is welcoming its first students. Bennett Freehill provided M&E Engineering Design, BREEAM Assessment and Passivhaus Consultancy services on this landmark project – Ireland’s largest Passivhaus student accommodation development and Belfast’s first certified Passivhaus purpose-built student accommodation scheme.

Our Belfast headquarters expansion is underway and we’ve successfully completed our latest SGS audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards.

With new opportunities on the horizon, new recruitment drive, major project milestones achieved and exciting plans taking shape, we’re building on a fantastic summer and looking forward to an equally busy and successful autumn.
