As a leading Building Services Engineering Consultancy, established in 1999 and rebranded in 2020, Bennett Freehill provides a quality, client focused and professional mechanical, electrical and niche sustainability engineering design service.
We have created a vibrant, innovative and energetic engineering hub that focuses on the advancements in digital engineering and sustainability and is integral to the delivery of pioneering and award-winning projects such as the South West College Erne Campus (the world’s first educational Passivhaus Premium rated building and the first UK building to achieve both Passivhaus Premium status and BREEAM outstanding accreditation), DAERA Headquarters, Giants Causeway Visitors Centre and more recently the Redevelopment of two CAFRE Agricultural College campuses to Passivhaus Premium and Weavers’ Hall the first certified Passivhaus Purpose Built Student Accommodation in Belfast.
Working in collaboration with architects and professional design teams, D&B contractors and M&E sub contractors, we strive to be at the forefront with innovative, practical sustainable solutions to deliver world class buildings for our clients throughout the UK and Ireland.

Our in-house team consists of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Vertical Transport Engineers, Building Physics Engineers, Certified Passivhaus / NZEB Designers, Certified Commissioning Managers, BREEAM Assessors and BIM Professionals.
