Dara takes on the Purple Dash for NI Children’s Hospice

Our colleague Dara is taking part in the Purple Dash – a colourful and inspiring 5K charity walk/run in aid of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Taking place on Saturday 27 June 2026 at the Titanic Slipways, the Purple Dash brings people together to walk, jog or run in support of local children and families who rely on the incredible care provided by the hospice.

As Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice celebrates 25 years of providing specialist children’s hospice care, the need for support has never been greater. With government funding covering less than 40% of costs, the charity must raise over £3.2 million annually to continue delivering vital services – and currently the Hospice is only able to operate six of its ten available beds at Horizon House.

This year, the Purple Dash aims to raise £150,000 – a vital contribution toward keeping those services running for the families who need them most.

We’re delighted to support Dara in taking part and helping to raise awareness and funds for such an important cause.

If you would like to contribute to Dara’s fundraising efforts and support the amazing work of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, please go to our JustGiving page.

Every donation can make a real difference. Thank you.
