We are absolutely delighted to have won two awards at the Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards, which rewards exceptional companies focused on their people by recognising excellence in the workplace.
As well as being crowned winner of the Best Place to Work (Small Business) which recognises our pioneering design excellence, robust training opportunities for professional development and staff engagement opportunities, we also won the award for Best Wellbeing in the Workplace (Small Business).
On winning the ‘Best Wellbeing in the Workplace’ award the judges said: “Bennett Freehills dynamic team is central to its success. The company recruits and retains dynamic, talented individuals who balance office banter with business deadlines.”
Managing Partner Cormac Freehill is passionate about and committed to identifying and addressing employee’s needs to ensure a healthy happy workforce, and this permeates throughout the team.
Over the last 3 years our way of working has changed and, as perspectives on work-life balance have shifted, we have focused on work-life balance, health and wellbeing practices – putting staff wellbeing and satisfaction at the core – which benefit our dedicated staff and ultimately get results.
Cormac said:
“To win these awards recognises not only our inclusive fun team-centred culture but also the drive of our passionate, technically accomplished and creative team who are committed to the business’ success.
It is also important that we reinforce and sustain the good work we have been doing within the business, particularly around employee wellbeing and the work environment. We are a service business and our time, our engineering and our development will ultimately be what makes us successful.”
Congratulations to all the winners and to the Irish News for a wonderful night of celebration at Titanic Belfast.
