Bennett Freehill has this week become a member of the Passivhaus Trust (PHT) further underlining our commitment to promote the adoption of Passivhaus in the UK, to focus on providing innovative and practical sustainable building design solutions and continuing our legacy of technical innovation.
As certified Passivhaus designers and members of sustainable building associations our teams are specialists in Passivhaus and NZEB construction as well as MEP Engineering and design environmentally friendly buildings that promote occupant well-being, maximize natural daylighting, and contribute to local biodiversity.
Our client-centered approach aims to create exceptional buildings, and we prioritize the use of natural construction materials and renewable energy sources to minimize energy consumption.
The Passivhaus Standard is arguably the world’s most rigorous quality assurance standard for energy efficient buildings, and Passivhaus buildings. This has led to a rapid growth in the adoption of the Standard and global interest in the buildings that result.
The PHT is an independent industry leading organisation which is part of the global Passivhaus movement and the official UK affiliate of the International Passive House Association (iPHA).
