Project Information

The Grade B1 Old School House at Methodist College Belfast has been refurbished and extended to provide a new state of the art education facility for students and staff. This project addressed the previous cramped conditions for teaching staff and the general lack of associated storage / resource areas and included replacing an existing single storey extension with a new two storey extension; extensive renovation of internal areas; and removal/replacement of all mechanical and electrical systems.

The MEP systems within the building have been designed to respect and protect the Grade B1 building whilst providing a safe, comfortable space for the users. The project includes natural and hybrid ventilation strategies, LED lighting, LTHW heating and comms installation.
