Delivering M&E Engineering design for New Sixth Form Centre at St Killian’s College

Bennett Freehill is proud to be providing Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services on the new purpose-built Sixth Form Centre at St Killian’s College, located in one of Northern Ireland’s most beautiful settings, as part of the Hamilton Architects led design team.

The design of the new centre features:

  • A dedicated Careers Department to help students plan their future
  • Modern Study Area and IT suite equipped with the latest technology
  • Two flexible classrooms designed for contemporary teaching methods
  • Two multi-purpose rooms adaptable to diverse learning activities
  • Carefully designed ancillary spaces to support the educational environment

This project is part of a campus wide transformation at St Killian’s College. Bennett Freehill is also delivering sustainable engineering design services for the ambitious redevelopment of the entire 11-hectare school site in Carnlough. The campus redevelopment, which received planning approval in 2022, presents unique challenges and opportunities as it is located within a historic demesne in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our engineering solutions are specifically designed to complement this exceptional setting while providing state-of-the-art facilities for 800 post-primary pupils.
