Education Minister Paul Givan recently paid a visit to Mary Queen of Peace Primary School in Glenravel. The purpose of his visit was to tour the school and view the site of the new nine-classroom school build, on which Bennett Freehill is providing Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and BREEAM design services.
The new school building will result from the amalgamation of two local primary schools, bringing together the resources and communities into a single, modern facility. Designed to accommodate 250 pupils, the school will offer state-of-the-art facilities for both the students and staff, as well as benefiting the wider Glenravel community – fostering growth and high-quality learning environments for future generations.
The Mary Queen of Peace Primary School development is one of several education projects which Bennett Freehill is working on, and is part of a broader initiative aimed at enhancing educational infrastructure across Northern Ireland. Earlier this year, the Minister announced an £80 million capital funding injection dedicated to new educational buildings.
